What is FitGlue?
FitGlue is the magic layer between your fitness apps. It takes your raw workout data and transforms it into something extraordinaryβdetailed summaries, muscle heatmaps, heart rate overlays, official race results, and beautiful shareable pages.
Think of it as the glue that connects your fitness ecosystem and makes everything better.

Step 1: Create Your Account
Head to fitglue.com/auth/register and create your account. You can sign up with email or use Google/GitHub for one-click login.
π Your 30-Day Athlete Trial
Every new account automatically starts with a 30-day Athlete trial. This gives you access to all premium featuresβAI summaries, muscle heatmap images, route thumbnails, and unlimited syncs. No credit card required.
After 30 days, you'll automatically switch to the free Hobbyist tier. Upgrade anytime if you want to keep the premium features.
Step 2: Connect Your Apps
FitGlue needs to talk to your fitness apps. Head to the Connections page in your dashboard and connect the services you use:
Common Sources (where workouts come from)

- β Fitbit β OAuth connection, works with any Fitbit device
- π΄ Strava β Can be both a source AND a target
Common Targets (where workouts go)
- π΄ Strava β Upload your boosted activities to your feed
- π Showcase β Create beautiful public pages (no connection needed!)
Step 3: Create Your First Pipeline
A Pipeline defines the journey your workout data takes. Go to Pipelines and click Create Pipeline.
Choose Your Source
Select where workouts will come fromβHevy, Fitbit, Strava, or manual FIT file uploads.
Add Boosters
This is where the magic happens! Add boosters like Workout Summary, Muscle Heatmap, Heart Rate overlay, Weather, and more. Each booster adds something special to your activity.
Choose Your Targets
Select where your boosted activities should goβStrava, Showcase, or both!
Save & Activate
Save your pipeline and it's immediately active. The next workout will flow through automatically.
Step 4: Complete a Workout
Now the fun partβgo work out! When you finish:
- β Your activity arrives at FitGlue (usually within seconds)
- β Boosters transform the data (instant for most, ~2 hours for parkrun results)
- β Enhanced activity is sent to your targets
- β Check your Strava feed or Showcase link to see the magic!

Monitoring Your Syncs
The Activity page in your dashboard shows every activity that's flowed through FitGlue:

- π§ Boosters Applied β Which boosters ran
- π― Targets β Where the activity was sent
- π Links β Quick access to Strava or Showcase
