🩵 Fitbit Heart Rate
Adds heart rate data from Fitbit to your activity with smart GPS alignment
Unified Heart Data
Sync your heart rate data from your Fitbit device and overlay it onto your imported activities. This is perfect for when you track a workout (like weightlifting) on one app but wear your Fitbit for health monitoring.
How it works
When an activity is imported (e.g., from a strength training app), FitGlue checks your Fitbit account for heart rate data recorded during that time window. It creates a second-by-second heart rate stream and attaches it to the activity before sending it to your activity feed or other destinations.
Smart GPS Alignment
When your activity has GPS data (from a phone app or watch), FitGlue uses an "Elastic Match" algorithm to align Fitbit heart rate data with your GPS timestamps. This handles minor clock drift between devices automatically, ensuring your HR matches the correct location points within ±2 seconds accuracy.
